Summary/Abstract: On the 30th of November 2021, Klaus Iohannis, President of Romania, conferred "The Centenary Celebration of the Great Union" anniversary medal upon His Beatitude Father Patriarch Daniel. This decoration throws into relief the effort made with a view to keep and promote the memory of the events and participants in the accomplishment of the national unity of the Romanian modern State. The medal was offered by Sergiu Nistor, Presidential Counsellor at the Department of Culture, Cults and National Minorities, in "The Romanian Saints" Hall of the Patriarchal Residence.
