THE EUROPEAN AND NATIONAL DIMENSION OF THE ACTUAL MIGRATION. LEGISLATIVE AND SECURITY ASPECTS

Summary/Abstract: Migration is a phenomenon which has been lasting since ancient times, acquiring, especially after the ending of The Cold War, significant influences on human development and on the development of some regions. At the same time, migration is a real challenge for the democratic states; a challenge which, in our view, requires the inclusion of effective solutions in a powerful domain management in order to be solved. The present article aims as a main objective to present some of the aspects related to the migration phenomenon in Europe and Romania, but also of the European and national regulation regarding the rights and duties of the emigrants and immigrants.
