Summary/Abstract: It seems that the Belagines laws were a code containing rules of conduct of the Geto-Dacian people. Jordanes and Iamblichos mention their existence. From Jordanes we learn that the laws of the Geto-Dacians were called “bellagines” and that they were written, and from Iamblichos we learn that Zamolxe created this code of written laws through which he showed the Getae the way to the immortality of the soul. The written text of the rules has not been preserved, but we will try, from the information we have, to reproduce their content as much as possible.
