Summary/Abstract: The paper includes the author’s personal view on the correlation between the education legislation and the basic rules of the European-style rule of law and the accounting law. A problem that occurs in the education legislation in Romania and in other European countries is the correlation with the rules and fundamental principles included in the Constitution or with the specialized rules in other fields such as accounting law. The paper uses the comparison method of education law and the principles of social state or well established rules of accounting law. There is included also a comparison approach with general rules of market economy.
