Summary/Abstract: In doctrine the notion of legal person as a subject of environmental legal relations is widely used, including when referring to the public administration authorities. The present paper is referring only to private legal persons, still using the notion of legal persons. Being subject of an environmental legal relation for legal persons is mainly when activities connected to environmental use are concerned. These depend on authorizing environmental use, actual use of the natural resources and creating the conditions of anthropogenic environment, as well as on the liabilities generated by polluting acts.
