Summary/Abstract: The work „Polonophilism in the Letopis Matice srpske (1824–1941)” is part of a wider research that, of course, includes the period after the Second World War up to the current issues. The research covers all contributions concerning Polish literature, cultu- re, politics, and even politics and economics. Incidental mentions were also taken into account, as well as publications in Polish or translated from the Polish language that arrived at the address of Letopis. It was established that the “Polonophile” in Letopis is conditioned by the personalities of the editors, their conceptions, but also by the aware- ness of nurturing and networking of Slavic cultures.
