Summary/Abstract: Web 2.0 is here for a couple of years already. Thanks to it's characteristics, Web 2.0 users are not only finding information on the Internet, they are also creating and uploading digital content on un unprecedent scale. As a dirrect consequence, we are now confrunting with information overload. Therefore, users must to use every weapon they knew in order to stands out and to valorise their skills, abilities and competences. Thanks to the web 2.0 characteristics as well as combined with the ePortfolios functionalities, nowadays the Internet users can use different applications in order to provide their skills, abilities and competencies and moreover to enhance their digital and 21st skills: communication, reflection, sharing, thinking critical, collaboation, social skills etc. Thus, during this paper we will try to emphatise the nowadays necessity of using ePortfolios, no matter if you are a (graduated) student, a teacher or an employer/organization.
