Psycho-emotional aspects of palliative medicine

Summary/Abstract: This article discusses the incidence of symptoms in patients with end-stage disease. The psycho-emotional symptoms occur at the same frequency as that of somatic complaints as well. The main purpose of palliative care, obstacles to good communication and techniques of communication are considered.
