Summary/Abstract: A special legal regime expands the proportion of energy derived from renewable sources, regulating the extraction and use of hydro-geothermal resources for energy production from geothermal sources. Several acts introduce this frame so far (the Renewable Energy Sources Act, the Underground Resources Act, the Water Act). However, their effectiveness is still debatable due to the different concepts they imply. Focusing on this, the article examines the contradictions, different terminology, and questions some legislative decisions.
