A CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK OF CULTURAL DIPLOMACY: THEORETICAL AND INSTITUTIONAL PERSPECTIVES

Summary/Abstract: The article is focused on providing the reader with some more important definitions of cultural diplomacy, examining the concept both through the theoretical prism, but also through specific Bulgarian institutional terrains on which it works. The text problematizes cultural diplomacy as an opportunity to establish long-term peaceful practices in international relations and insists that culture and cultural dialogue can be successful tools in foreign policy.
