Dwudziestolecie versus dwudziestolecie? O przypadkach poezji najnowszej z perspektywy historyka literatury
The Interwar Period versus the Twenty Years after 1989? On the example of recent poetry from the perspective of a literary historian.

Summary/Abstract: The article faces the popular and mechanical ways of ordering recent literature, especially with such a perspective which assumes a literary-historical parallel between the processes which took place in 1918 – 1939 and those which would be most recent, from after 1989. Even though it claims the parallel is only provisional, contemporary critique develops it and contributes to the enforcement of the stereotype of the “turning point,” seen in the context of ‘innovation.’ Thus it seems necessary to verify the various thesis formulated in relation to this “anniversary” thinking (20 years from the social and political turning point).
