Non-place under the aegis of the idyll

Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the implantation of the idyllic metaphor onto the regained territories in the aspect of the “non-place” and concentrates on the literary examples of the parallel between the non-place (after Marc Augé) and the Lubuskie region. The object of the analysis here are the works of prose by the authors from th region in question published in the postwar period – when the settlement on the western lands was completed (1960s and 1970s.) and it begun to transform into a literary legend.
