Establishing the boundaries of the Boldești estate

Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the history of formation and development of Boldești estate as it appears from the topographic sources and other documents of property from 1831, until the unification of all lands into one body under the name Boldești estate, made by the border engineer Alexandru C. Cociu. There are presented data on neighborhoods estate, as well as issues related to how the estate plan was realized, the triangulation, but also the technical tools used. The critical analysis of the original researched documentation leads to the establishment of some relevant conclusions regarding the theoretical and scientific training of engineers the technical endowment, but also the importance of these documents for defense property right.
