Summary/Abstract: The theme “Symbols and Imagination in Contemporary Philosophy,” featured in the second issue of the journal Dialogue and Universalism (2024), brings to the forefront the interest in the meaningful play of recognizing significations, bringing order to human culture, to the world of thought, and to the world in general. Meanings establish and dismantle hierarchies, alter and restore orders, preserve perspectives and also shift them—in relation to the world and between these perspectives, especially in times marked by crises and propaganda.
