Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to follow the lineaments that weave themselves between Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt's two confessions of faith. Certainly, the two autobiographical accounts, one spiritual, the other religious, La Nuit de Feu (2015) and Le Défi de Jérusalem (2023) retrace the journey of the neophyte.
