Summary/Abstract: Creativity and emotional intelligence are two distinct aspects of psychological functioning, but they can be interconnected and influence each other. Creativity can be seen as a component of emotional intelligence and emotional intelligence can help to foster creativity. Creativity can be seen as the ability to generate new, innovative ideas and find original solutions to problems. This skill requires mental flexibility, divergent thinking and the ability to look at things from different perspectives. Emotional intelligence, on the other hand, refers to the ability to recognise, understand and manage emotions, as well as to identify and respond appropriately to others' emotions.
