Summary/Abstract: In this critical essay I had been struggling to get a definition to the Seventh Art in Soviet Russia, the result is a brief history of Russian Red Cinema as a weapon of political propaganda, I am focusing on the texts written by the French Jewish Romanian writer Benjamin Fondane aka Barbu Fundoianu. I have tryed to define the effect Kuleshov and I have presented one of the best Russian director, Serghei Eisenstein, well known even in the Capitalist countries.I have presented also Andrei Tarkovski s symbolic movies and I have also presented Eisentsein Memoir, Immoral Memories.
