The Impact of Artificial Intelligence-mediated Communication Strategies on Organization Performance

Summary/Abstract: In this digital relationship era, the communication process knew an important trend in organizations and among their employees. The aim of this study is to analyse the impact could have AI-mediated communication strategies (interaction, cooperation, communication, and relationship) on organizational performance among Romanian employees. The literature review highlighted the importance of the implications of the impact could have these four processes on organizational performance. A sample of 135 of employees were asked to analyse the impact of these four processes mediated by AI on organizational performance. Four research hypothesis were established and was demonstrated that only two were fulfilled, demonstrating that interaction and relationship processes mediated by AI are influencing directly and positively the organizational performance (p0.1), therefore there were proposed measures to improve their performance. Despite the few limitations (reduced number of respondents and reduced area of analysis), the paper contributes to the development of AI-mediated communication policies and strategies and help employees to find different benefits of using AI in organizational communication process and also for managers opportunities to overcome possible issues and risks in this vital field.
