Science on the Context of „Classical Philosophy”

Summary/Abstract: The paper contains Agnieszka Lekka-Kowalik’s consideration concerns axiological dimension of science. It reconstructs its main problems, e.g. M. Weber’s idea of neutrality of science and arguments for presents in science cognitive evaluations, which decides of choice the method and non-cognitive evaluations (moral, sociological, political) which decides of choice researching problems. Philosophical conception of axiological dimension of science is normative ideal of science, it’s purpose is truth and such values as simplicity, coherence and fruitfulness are cognitive indicators of truth. Philosophical basis of science should be classical philosophy. I show some difficulties of this approach to science and performative confusion in realization of antidemarcationism programme.
