Summary/Abstract: The problem of the river Danube as a bridge between cultures has been developed on the foundation and culture of the Roman Catholic village of Dragomirovo, settled at the end of 19 century by Bulgarian Catholics from Banat, Bulgarian Catholics from the region of Bucharest, East Orthodox Christian Bulgarians from the Belomorie Thracian region, from Romania and the Balkan villages. Ensigns and images stand out, showing how life at both sides of the Danube defines the intercultural processes, but also appears as a cause of separating the groups of the "firm" belief, Pavlikjanian root, the Banat and Bucharest origin, the catholic language rituals, musical and dance traditions, the traditional food, clothes, home.
