Summary/Abstract: The main thesis of this declaration there is in a statement, that the game is an established cultural phenomenon, which an essence is a popular character connected with a celebration, a spare time and a philosophy of life. Thus the game is the game as long as it stays in a situational context relating to the customs. The educational games, which there are outside of this context, are not the games in the cultural meaning. They are only the factor of the development of child. The role of game in aid of child's development', which there is in the title of this dissertation, is a setting task in a cultural way. The analyze of that composed conception can not be without pedagogical formulation of its popular character and showing its cultural status or educational and cultural aspect.
