Summary/Abstract: Social market economy became the brand of political and social aspirations of the founders. Meanwhile, state institutions were not involved in any planning, organization and management of companies, financial risk exists and acts as an effective instrument to support a highly competitive business environment both internal and on external market. Therefore the German postwar economy operation, supported by monetary independence from political power, was able to make an opening for export and, especially, to become the main source of financing the state social actions. With an open economy, with strong ties to foreign trade, Germany has been affected by the global crisis, with rising unemployment, facing one of the most difficult moments of the past decades.
