Summary/Abstract: Mergers and acquisitions were long ways to strengthen the financial position of many corporations that want to maintain their status in a particular market or internationally. The main problem with these operations is about how to exercise control in the corporation that will result from restructuring. This paper envisages precisely this aspect of control of the entity that was formed after mergers or acquisitions.
