Summary/Abstract: Since 1999 has the Faculty of Economics Matej Bel University as a first university workplace in Central Europe built and certified the quality management system. The paper more specifically deals with QMS and TQM of the Faculty of Economics and its character as a learning organization. The Faculty of Economics Matej Bel University proved its excellence with applying to National Quality Award of Slovak Republic 2010 and it included elaborated self-evaluation report.
