CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AND ITS IMPACT ON GROUPS OF COMPANIES

Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the concept of corporate governance in particular, and the impact it has on the group of companies. For this reason, we tried to select some definitions of this concept and explain its importance. Corporate governance has implications regarding the company's attitude not only to shareholders but also to employees, customers, creditors and other partners including communities where the company operates. We consider as very important the knowledge to adapt the concept of corporate governance and its application to situations arising in everyday practice, and to identify the impact it has on the organizational level.
