Turgenev’s “Rudin”: to the novel’s hero question

Summary/Abstract: The article analyses one of the famous Turgenev’s novel “Rudin” as a part of the main Russian literary type – ontology. There are revolved themes: Turgenev’s novel genre contents; problem of love and duty; epilogue’s poetic, but the main of them – his novel’s hero specific and typology. This contribution also deals with Turgenev’s letters, literary critic’s articles, which comments writer’s view and world out-loīk.
