CO-OPERATION OF COMMUNITIES OF ŁÓDZ VOIVODESHIP WITH ORGANIZATIONS SUPPORTING ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Summary/Abstract: Current concepts of territorial development assume activation and participation of wide group of local actors in the process of creation and implementation of development policy. The policy of supporting entrepreneurship is an important part of it. If it is really so, it becomes obvious that local authorities should co-operate with institutions supporting entrepreneurship. It seems that their knowledge and experience enable the identification of needs and the choice of the way how to satisfy them, as well as taking advantage of resources assigned by authorities for the support of entrepreneurial processes on its territory. Experience shows that it is not so evident. The article presents the results of the research concerning the problem of co-operation of local authorities of communities of Łódź Voivodeship with organi¬zations supporting entrepreneurship.
