Potato growing vocabulary in the speech of inhabitants of Mosciska region

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the results of comparative studies on development of potato growing vocabulary in Mosciska region. Examples prove that the youngest and the oldest generation use the same dialect as cultivating technologies and farming tools has not changed. The influence of Ukrainian in mixed families and introduction of modern farming machines have the most impact on the appearance of new lexemes.
