Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to overview and assess some Business Intelligence maturity models. In order to achieve this purpose the author analyzed twelve different maturity concepts. Some strengthens and weaknesses of maturity models were identified and some guidelines to their further development were elaborated. Finally, the implications for practice and research were discussed and an outlook on future research was given.
