Conceptualization of ontology for the early warning system. Case study

Summary/Abstract: Usefulness of the economic indicators in decision-making depends on decision- -makers’ comprehension of structural and semantic connections existing between ratios. One of suggested solutions, which allows to present various associations between economic indicators, is the standard of a topic map. It requires to elaborate ontology for the specific field of analysis of ratios. The aim of the following article is to present the conceptualization of ontology for the early warning system. The first part briefly characterizes the model of early warning system. The next part describes a method of creating ontology for economic ratios. The last part of this article contains the presentation of process of creating ontology for multidimensional early warning system for production enterprises.
