Technological aspects of the development of health care units’ intellectual capital

Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the opportunities of using selected modern information and communication technologies (ICT) for the development of health care units’ intellectual capital and intangible assets. Based on the research presented in the scientific literature on this subject, the most significant factors for the development of the intellectual capital of a health care unit have been distinguished. Moreover, a few practical examples of using ICT in Polish hospitals for the development of intellectual capital are presented in the article.
