INVESTIŢIILE FINANCIARE ÎN ECONOMIILE EMERGENTE
FINANCIAL INVESTMENT IN EMERGING ECONOMIES

Summary/Abstract: The objective of the present paper is to provide a synopsis of the recent evolutions in the foreign investments in emerging economies. Several institutional and functional determinants of foreign capital and direct investments are highlighted and some comparative advantages and risks associated with these investments are analyzed. The main outcome of the study consists in the thesis according to which the emerging economies need to improve their overall economic and social performances in order to atract and to benefit from more stable inflows of foreign capital.
