Russian linguistic personality: the experience of spelling research (on the materials of questioning the scientific pedagogical intelligentsia)

Summary/Abstract: Actual problems of the study of Russian linguistic personality taking into account its written practice and peculiarities of spelling are shown in the article. On the basis of questioning of the representatives of scientific peda-gogical intelligentsia the author makes conclusions about the personal estima-tion of its spelling, about the attitude of university teachers to the socially important problems of writing in the Russian society. The conclusion about the legitimacy of analyzing the culture of written and oral speech as one of the essential characteristics of intelligentsia is made is by the author
