Summary/Abstract: This article provides an overview of the situation of the Lithuanian minority in Poland. First, the author depicts socio-economic and demographic background of the Lithuanian community and presents their cultural organizations, schools and other institutions. Next, the Polish-Lithuanian relations (both at government and local levels), as well as challenges in these relations, are discussed.
