General aspects of the pedagogic research in regard to religious education

Summary/Abstract: The fundament of any research in the educational field is given by the scientific status of Pedagogy, and the investigations take into consideration the explaining, the understanding, the optimizing, the innovation, the reformation and the prospecting of the means of education and instruction. In the field of Religious Education, the pedagogic research takes into consideration all the implications that Religion, as a school subject, has upon the formation and the development of the moral and religious aspects of the pupils’ personalities. The complexity of the field of research connected to Religion, as a school subject, have determined theoretical and practical measures, especially at the beginning of the twentieth century, which were carried on through the agency of theologians, pedagogues and school teachers.
