Summary/Abstract: Culture is for us a vital component of welfare. Therefore, it is worth analyzing in detail the two Macedo-Romanians as pioneers of the Balkan cinema, Milton and Ienache. Operating in a large area of the peninsula, the two brothers ventured into an odyssey, crossing empires, nations in the making, wars, remarkably divers cultures, recording all these on their film, in a static manner or in motion. Having artistic talent doubled by financial income, they first started to photograph, then to shoot the reality around them, aware that they turned into film unrepeatable things, a world in the making, a period of transformation, a minority whose archaic customs are washed off by the whirl of history, remaining, however, through their efforts, chronicle, museum objects.
