Summary/Abstract: The directorial concept is the basis of all traits of a film, both as a process and as a finished work of art. The multitude of approaches that explain the artistic directions of communication for a directorial concept originates in other forms of art whose expression involves groups of artists and technicians. The artistic effort of producing a directorial concept can be divided in three stages. The director’s concept is not just the elaboration of a document or a composition project, it is a permanent state of artistic feeling and creative invention.
