Summary/Abstract: Apocryphal traditions, called Hadiths by our people because they are the words and teachings of the Prophet himself, are a part of our daily routine. They ¸flooded even numerous scientific and technical literature, and they are often quoted by highly regarded and respectable intellectuals. This also goes for those circles that should, with the strength of their arguments and scientific valorization, be more audaciously committed to minimizing and neutralizing false traditions which, during the time, due to different incentives and aspirations, infiltrated the original Islamic studies. This paper should remind all those who try to preserve and protect the original Islamic studies and especially the authentic Hadiths of the risk of great use of some false and apocryphal traditions which seriously jeopardize the originality of the second source of Islam – the Prophet’s Sunna. Under the watchful eye of the first generations of Islam and due to their precise scientific criteria their permanent vigil over the second source of Islamic law- Hadith- it was possible to preserve its authentic substance in the first centuries of Islam. It is the task of the modern-age intellectuals and scientific institutions to purify The honorable Islamic tradition, the way it was at the time of Buhary and Muslim, from the corruption and apocryphal quality that infiltrated over the time.
