Summary/Abstract: This paper addresses the issue of scepticism in the work of Ludwig Wittgenstein, from the point of view of paradigmatic alternatives of Pyrrhonism and non-Pyrrhonism. The emphasis of the analysis is on the periods circumscribed around the Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus and that around the Philosophical Investigations, respectively, and it sustains a nuanced position, taking into account sceptical and non-sceptical elements in Wittgenstein’s epistemology and philosophy of language.
