Summary/Abstract: This article suggests approaching the problem of the birth in Cioran. By interpreting the fall from Heaven as the exile, Cioran aims at subtracting the narrative of the Genesis from the moral dialectic innocence/fault towards God, to conjugate it with the profound intuitions on the consciousness of the Zen Buddhism.
