The First Speech of Peter (Act 1, 16–22): What Really Predicted the Scripture and What Kind Of Function V. 19 Has in the Text

Summary/Abstract: Straipsnyje retorinės analizės metodu išanalizuota pirmoji Petro kalba (Apd 1, 16–22). Analizės tikslas – išspręsti nuo seno biblistus dominančias teksto struktūros problemas, nes tai hermeneutinis raktas į teksto interpretaciją. Dėl to visas dėmesys sutelkiamas į vidinę teksto organizaciją ir jo santykį su kontekstu. Nors buvo analizuotas tekstas originalo kalba, bet skaitytojų patogumui straipsnyje pateikiama šio straipsnio autoriaus atlikto originalų tekstą atspindinčio vertimo į lietuvių kalbą analizė. Semitų autoriai, net ir rašydami graikų kalba, liko ištikimi semitų kompozicijos modeliams, todėl retorinė analizė yra tinkamiausias metodas, padedantis suprasti autoriaus retorinę strategiją ir minties plėtojimo dinamiką. In this article with the method of rhetorical analysis the first speech of Peter (Act 1, 16–22) was analyzed. The purpose is to resolve the problems of the organization of the text, which for some time are in the center of attention of scientists, because the resolutions are the hermeneutical key to the heart of the interpretation. For this purpose all the attention turns around the inner organization of the text and its connections with the context. The analysis was done on the text in Greek, but for the convenience of the readers in the article the Lithuanian translation is analyzed, that reflects the original text and was accomplished by the author of this article. The Semitic authors composed their books in Greek according to the model of the Semitic composition. For this reason the rhetorical analysis is the method most suitable to recover the rhetorical strategy of the text and the dynamics of the development of the thought.
