Summary/Abstract: The author provides a paradoxical view on Lithuanian attitudes towards main political powers: the U.S.; the EU and Russia. He is arguing that Lithuania as well as other new member states of EU is facing a plethora of dilemmas in it's foreign policy, which are very related with constructed images of big powers and neighbours.
