Problem of the effectiveness of expenditure of local governments

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the problems of the effectiveness of the public finance sector with particular emphasis on the effectiveness of expenditure of local governments. The article is a review, and is an attempt to address the issue of the effectiveness of expenditure of local government units in theoretical terms. In order to achieve the intended purpose a rough idea of its effectiveness and understanding in relation to the public sector has been presented. The rest of this article describes the rationalization of instruments and measurements of the effectiveness of expenditure of local government units. These issues will be a contribution to the discussion about the effectiveness of public sector entities as the expression of a state functioning.
