Summary/Abstract: In the 1950s and 1960s more and more foreigners visited Yugoslavia, especially the Adriatic where they came to spend their holidays. Croatian Adriatic coast became a destination for the majority of foreign tourists. British and American tourists received information about Croatia from travel guidebooks. The author presents the content of these guidebooks.
