Summary/Abstract: The multicultural environment that characterizes our world at present requires competence in intercultural communication. Demands for intercultural communication skills are increasing as more and more businesses go global or international. The article discusses different ways to improve intercultural competence based on the theory of “positions of experiences” (Jensen) and the Developmental Model of Intercultural Sensitivity (Bennett).
