K ŽÁNROVÉ PROBLEMATICE TEXTŮ S HISTORICKOU TEMATIKOU NA MORAVĚ V 17. STOLETÍ
ON THE GENRES OF TEXTS WITH HISTORICAL TOPICS IN MORAVIA IN 17TH CENTURY

Summary/Abstract: Within the literary history tradition, texts written in Czech, dealing with the pre-National Revival historical period, have been referred to as chronicles. However, from a scientific point of view, these texts are not historiographic works. It is obvious that from a literary point of view, the term chronicle covers texts of various genres. This paper demonstrates that with respect to the diversity of literary texts, the genre character of the historiographic works written in prose in the Baroque period was very complex. The boundaries of the professional literature, non-fiction and fiction were not clear-cut and the gener classification of individual texts, as well as their function, underwent frequent changes.
