The end of the world and the world of the end in the lithuanian poetry of the young generation

Summary/Abstract: Straipsnyje naudojant komparatyvistinį tyrimo metodą siekiama atskleisti religinio patyrimo išgyvenimo specifiką ir universaliųjų biblinių tiesų sklaidą šiuolaikinėje lietuvių literatūroje, analizuojant apokaliptinės jausenos požy-mius jauniausios lietuvių poetų kartos kūryboje. Tyrimo metu jaunųjų lietuvių poetų kūryboje buvo aptikta kai kurių apokalipsės žanro bruožų (apokaliptinių nuotaikų sklaida, pasaulio pabaigos ženklų akcentavimas, žaibiška vertybių kaita, nuolatinis buvimas dievoieškos būsenoje...). Tačiau ryškus negatyvios dabarties akcentas stokoja atsvaros taško – apokalipsėms būdingą Viešpaties karalystės viziją jaunosios kartos poezijoje keičia tikėjimo krizės sukeltas nerimas dėl ateities. This article is a comparative study, which attempts to reveal the specifics of devotional experience and the spread of universal biblical truths in contemporary Lithuanian literature, researching the texts of the youngest poets’ generation for the features of apocalyptic feelings. During the research of the texts of the young Lithuanian poets some features of apocalypse genre were detected – the spread of apocalyptic feelings, the accentuation of Doomsday signs, the change of values with blistering speed, the constant presence of the desperate state of searching for God… However, the striking negative accent on the Present lacks the leverage point –the Lord’s Kingdom vision, which is characteristic for apocalypse genre, in the poetry of the young generation is changed with the anxiety about the future, caused by a crisis of faith
