Summary/Abstract: In 2005, George Bush began his second term as the President of the United States. His presidency has been marked with a clear acceleration in the development of Polish-American relations. The visit of the American President in Warsaw in June 2001, three months prior to the tragic events in New York City, Washington and Pennsylvania, can be considered a symbolic moment of a new political opening, without precedence in the history of bilateral relations of the two states.
