Summary/Abstract: The contribution addresses the question of whether we are entitled to deal with the social science disciplines. It attempts to characterize the properties of natural sciences and social sciences specifics, with an emphasis on intentionality, which is the most significant difference between them. The attention is paid to overcoming dualism of Descartes and the paradigm of merging sciences in terms of knowledge of modern quantum physics. The focus is also derived to the evaluation of science, law and complementary of qualitative and quantitative procedures. The conclusions lead to explain what the science is, and what the scientific substance in the social sciences mean.
