Summary/Abstract: During the 17th century, the role of the image in what we could call propaganda of the almighty monarch was very powerful. Even the term propaganda appears in this century. The people in charge have always known to seize and use the image in their own interest. During Prince of Wallachia, Constantin Brâncoveanu (1688-1714) the whole society has experienced a profound transformation.
